Today at the Sports and Entertainment Hall GOSiR in Gniezno a meeting will be held for the Polish Super Cup, which will inaugurate the basketball season in Poland. It will also be the first sports event of this rank at the facility given by PKOB Wegner.
PKOB Wegner is not only the general contractor of the facility, but also the sponsor of this event. The winner of the league competition from last year, Anwil, and the winner of the national cup, or Polski Cukier Toruń, will play for the valuable trophy. Last year, the team from Włocławek was the winner. Transmission of the Lotto meeting The Polish Super Cup will take place in Polsat Sport Extra. The Polish Champion's match with the winner of the Polish Cup traditionally opens the new season of Energa Basket League. The GOSiR hall has been constructed to handle even very demanding sports events. It can accommodate up to 1500 people in the stands of the main pitch.
