On Monday 13/11/2017 in Bydgoszcz, the official settlement of the competition "Construction for the Medal of Pomerania and Kuyavia 2017" was held. It was the 20th edition of this competition and also special for PKOB Wegner.
We were not only among the nominees in the category of "Public buildings: sports, recreation, tourist" for the construction of a sports hall with facilities and necessary infrastructure in Mrocza - which in itself was a huge distinction - but we were awarded the Grand Prix in this category. The competition capital assessed, among other things, the usefulness and modernity of architectural and functional solutions, the quality of construction performance, aesthetic, ecological and economic values, or incorporation into the surroundings. As the organizers inform the competition itself, it aims to show and promote good construction as well as inspiring creative attitudes of design and executive teams in the field of construction and architecture, thus we are happy that we have been appreciated in such an important competition.
