A contract has been signed for the construction of a new seat for the provincial road traffic center in Łódź.

Today, a contract has been signed for the construction of a new seat of the Voivodeship Traffic Center in Łódź. The work plan is to start within a month.

This is another contract that PKOB Wegner has implemented in the "Design and Build" system. In her area of ​​application, she plans the planning, execution of construction works and the provision of authorial supervision.

If the construction works are carried out in accordance with the planned plan, the works will be completed by September next year. The representative of the investor hopes that from October 2019 the first examinations will take place in the new headquarters of the Voivodeship Traffic Center in Łódź.

PKOB Wegner has completed construction works on a 5-storey A-class office building in a boutique style at ul. Smoker in Poznań. The investment is characterized by a simple form, graphite façade and symmetrically set windows that are all storey high. The highest quality of finish, the possibility of optimizing the space and access to daylight allow you to create ideal working conditions. The total area of ​​the building is approximately 1,600 m2.

We complete the successful completion of the new building for the Department of Pathomorphology for the 10th Military Clinical Hospital in Bydgoszcz.

The newly created object has three overground storeys and uses the existing basement. It was planned for the needs of the pathomorphology laboratory and the dissecting laboratory. The lower part of the ground floor is occupied by the prosector - it contains a chancellery, a waiting room and a farewell room. The upper part of the ground floor and the first and second floor are provided for the needs of the laboratory. On the first floor there are laboratory rooms, the second storey is primarily a conference room and social rooms for staff. The building has two staircases, a passenger lift and two cargo lifts. Electronic access control for part of the rooms was used on the facility - only for staff. General access includes waiting rooms in front of the material and secretarial room, in the laboratory part and the office, waiting room and farewell room in the dissecting room where there are no architectural barriers.

In Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park, a demonstration center will be established, in which new companies will be able to test their products and use the latest technological advancements to improve their projects. We are proud to announce that PKOB Wegner will build this center.

The Bydgoszcz demonstration center is to consist of two parts. An office-type building and a hall will be built. Around the building complex, internal access roads, maneuvering areas for trucks and parking spaces for passenger cars and lorries are designed. In an office building, the usable area is nearly 2,000 square meters.

The hall will be a single-storey building with an area of ​​approximately 4,000 square meters. The final design will be determined by the construction project. It is worth emphasizing that he will have to obtain a positive opinion of the Aesthetic Council. The investment in the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park will cost approximately  27.5 million PLN

School at Sarmacka was established in the interwar period, it is small, intimate and almost bursting at the seams, which is why it was decided to expand it. The dayroom is able to accommodate a dozen students. For this reason, a decision was made to expand the facility. - Its cost is 7.9 million PLN.

PKOB Wegner will build a Primary School in Przeźmierow for the Tarnowo Podgórne commune.

On June 15, an agreement was signed between PKOB WEGNER and the Municipality of Tarnowo Podgórne for the construction of a Primary School in Przeźmierowo. The agreement with the head of the Tarnowo Podgórne commune, Mr. Tadeusz Czajka, at the headquarters of the Tarnowo Podgórne Commune Office on behalf of the PKOB WEGNER Company, was signed by the Vice President of the Board, Mr Bartosz Golis. Young inhabitants of the commune will be able to use the modern infrastructure created for them already in 2020. As usual, while carrying out projects for education - we derive great joy from the fact that the effect of our work will benefit young people who in the long run, perhaps they will become the future of the future and our company.

This unique, avant-garde block, created on a circular plan, houses as many as 16 one- and two-level apartments, arranged on 6 floors. We have inaugurated the construction of the Provincial Specialist Children's Hospital in Olsztyn.

We solemnly inaugurated our construction in Olsztyn today. The block of A3 Provincial Specialist Children's Hospital in Olsztyn is another project for Polish healthcare. This time, the implementation includes the enlargement and modernization of the Hospital wing from ul. Żołnierska, in which there will be: Department of Intensive Care and Anaesthesiology, Pediatric Department, Pediatric Department of Infectious Diseases and Department of Treatment of Diseases of the Bone-Joint-Muscular System.

In total, the works will cover as much as 5,600 sq m of space, of which 3,700 sq m will be added in the form of a new block and the next, 4th floor to the existing part. Another 1800 sq m - that is, what is now the existing wing, will be thoroughly rebuilt.

During the unveiling ceremony of the construction information board, the Marshal of the Province Gustaw Marek Brzezin congratulated the Hospital Directorate, put a responsible task ahead of us, as the general contractor of the investment and thanked for the contribution of the entire hospital team.

- This shows great work, medical artistry, but also about better equipment of the facility - emphasized the Marshal. - However, this investment, such a large project - practically the largest in terms of provincial hospitals - shows the importance and efficiency of this hospital. We have a hospital that is an independent, market-based hospital that takes up challenges and engages a lot of its own money to accomplish this task. Today, this hospital operates independently under difficult market conditions. At this point, I would like to thank you for the professionalism, management and great medical knowledge, because these are the predispositions of this hospital to the first places in Poland!

The total investment cost is PLN 30 million, of which PLN 17 million comes from the Regional Operational Program and the budget of the Voivodship Self-Government, the rest is the own contribution of the Hospital. The investment is planned to be completed by the end of June 2020.

For our client - Levant - we built a warehouse, which was intended for the purpose of Jump Arena (trampoline park). This is a construction with a special overtone, because the hall, in which the jump arena was operating in this place, has completely burned down. After less than two years from this event, we have put into operation a new hall, where the Jump Arena will be operating from today.

On April 5, 2018, a contract was signed for the extension of the Provincial Specialist Children's Hospital in Olsztyn.

The work will be carried out by PKOB Wegner as part of a project implemented under the name "Expansion, superstructure and reconstruction of the A3 building of the Provincial Specialist Children's Hospital in Olsztyn at Żołnierska Street and purchase of equipment to adapt it to the needs of multi-specialized comprehensive treatment of children". Soon, the Little Patients of the Hospital will be able to use the modern infrastructure designed for them.

Work has begun on the construction of a workshop and warehouse building for the Military Infrastruktura Management Board in Nadarzyce.

The building consists of two parts: garage and workshop - social, connected with each other by a roof and a car wash building, which is also connected with the rest of the roof.

The workshop and warehouse building is to be located in the technical equipment park of the 21 Central Aeronautical District in Nadarzyce.

On 31 January 2018 another contract was signed, this time for the extension of the Hospital in Puszczykowo.

The designed object, with a simple solid on the projection of a rectangle, is a two-storey building consisting of a basement and a ground floor.
It will be an extension of the existing 3-storey Hospital building, although it will be separated from it by fire - constituting a separate fire zone.

The underground storey - the basement will contain the Central Sterilization room and technical rooms, a ventilation room and an electrical technical room. The ground floor of the building is occupied by the Operational Block available from the adjacent existing building. In the clean part of the block, a wide corridor was designed leading to operating rooms (preceded by rooms for staff and patient preparation), a post-operative room, social rooms and warehouses. A small goods lift was placed in the sterile warehouse to transport the material directly from the sterilization plant. Behind the operating rooms there is a dirty part with a return corridor, a cleaning room and a waste storage room. In this part there is an independent elevator for the removal of dirty laundry, dirty material for sterilization and medical waste.

In addition to typical construction works, we are also responsible for equipping operating rooms with the necessary medical equipment - corresponding to the highest standards required in this type of facilities.

Yesterday we had the pleasure to participate in the important event of the Association we support. Jędrzej Śniadecki, Karol Olszewski and Zygmunt Wróblewski, namely the solemn inauguration of the international celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the birth of Jędrzej Śniadecki.

The subject of the order includes the execution of construction works in the "design and build" mode. The main scope of the investment includes the extension of the hospital in Mogilno, assuming the construction of a new 3-storey hospital facility for 3 departments: Pediatric, General and Gynecological Surgery with diagnostic and treatment rooms, an operating block with an arousal room, a delivery team with a family delivery room and a room cesarean cuts. The new facility also plans to include: a pharmacy department, a general cloakroom for staff with showers, rooms for doctors, nurses and midwives, technical rooms, social rooms, clean rooms and sanitary facilities. Sickness rooms for younger children separated by the required wash and apron sluice are additionally equipped with places for parents-caregivers. There are also scheduled day rooms for small patients and parents-carers. The maternity ward is planned in the "mother with child" system and the rooms of newborns observed, premature babies and intensive care of the newborn. The planned facility is accessible to disabled people. The installation of an inter-branch bed lift is also planned. The construction works will commence in September 2019. Until then, work on the project and obtaining a building permit is under way.

On Monday 13/11/2017 in Bydgoszcz, the official settlement of the competition "Construction for the Medal of Pomerania and Kuyavia 2017" was held. It was the 20th edition of this competition and also special for PKOB Wegner.

We were not only among the nominees in the category of "Public buildings: sports, recreation, tourist" for the construction of a sports hall with facilities and necessary infrastructure in Mrocza - which in itself was a huge distinction - but we were awarded the Grand Prix in this category. The competition capital assessed, among other things, the usefulness and modernity of architectural and functional solutions, the quality of construction performance, aesthetic, ecological and economic values, or incorporation into the surroundings. As the organizers inform the competition itself, it aims to show and promote good construction as well as inspiring creative attitudes of design and executive teams in the field of construction and architecture, thus we are happy that we have been appreciated in such an important competition.

In the second half of September, precisely on the 22.09.2017, the construction of residential apartments in Gniezno at ul. Cymsa formally began.
The investment involves the construction of two multi-family residential buildings with two underground garages and an outside infrastructure, each.

The first one is a communal-social block, which has 46 apartments (sizes from 30 to 50 m2, including 2 protected, 20 social and 24 communal) and a commercial premise on the ground floor.
The usable area of ​​the building is 2789 m2.

Next to it, there will be a senior building with 26 apartments (sizes from 30 to 51 m2, including 8 social) and a garage with 22 car spaces. The building was specially designed for older people to move freely around both: apartments and common areas. All bathrooms in this building provide free mobility for the disabled and in order to facilitate communication of the residents, a lift is provided in the block.
The usable area of ​​this building is 1952 m2.

In the immediate vicinity of the buildings there will also be a playground and activity area for adults.
According to the plan, the effects of the works will be seen at the end of September 2018.

On September 21, 2017, the 107th Military Hospital in Wałcz hosted a ceremonial commissioning of the newly built facility.

The added building is an autonomous part of the hospital. The applied design and hardware solutions will ensure continuity and professionalism of patient care.

In the basement there was a check-in room, technical and storage rooms, electrical switchboard, central heating center room and changing rooms for employees with necessary sanitary facilities.

The ground floor is an area divided in terms of functionality into two parts - anaesthesiology department and intensive medical therapy with accompanying rooms. A central sterilizer was also equipped with washer-disinfector, steam sterilizers and one plasma sterilizer.

On the first floor there is an operating block consisting of four rooms, one of which was prepared as a hybrid hall. The term "hybrid" means combining, at first glance, divergent areas, into one system.The operating procedures performed in such conditions require additional equipment and cooperation between doctors of various specialties.In operating rooms, laminar air vents have been used. Post-anesthesia supervision together with all the accompanying rooms, intended for both patients and staff.The central location of the reconstructed departments is the passage to the main hospital building and access to the communication node - an existing stairwell.

In order to facilitate communication, two hospital bed elevators and one dirty lift for transporting dirty from operating rooms were designed. All widows connect the basement with above-ground storeys. In addition, a goods lift was built in the central sterilization to transport the material sterilized with the operating block on the first floor. In addition, an additional steel external staircase was made to facilitate the evacuation of the building.

The entire project was carried out as planned, and as consequence new facility of particular importance to all those in need of medical care for the residents of Wałcz and the surrounding area can successfully start operations.

On Thursday, September 14, 2017, a contract for the construction of the last segment of the school in Paterk was signed.
The designed object is a continuation of the composition of the previously constructed building, both in terms of space, material solutions and architectural details.

The new wing consists of:
- four kindergarten classrooms
- five classrooms on the first floor and four on the attic
- rooms complementary to the essential function, ie sanitary rooms and offices
- kitchen and its facilities

In addition, the entire building is adapted to the needs of the disabled and transport corridors have been extended and provide recreational areas for children.
On behalf of the company, the contract was signed by Michał Kościucha, the Contract Director, who will personally supervise the progress of the works.
The first work begins soon - in early October. Under the agreement, the investment is expected to be completed by 31 March 2019.

On the 1st of September, the opening ceremony of a newly constructed school in Kamionki took place. The investment, including the building of the gymnasium, which is the extension of the primary school and the kindergarten with nursery began in June 2016.

Gymnasium is a two-storey building with a one-storey sports hall, which was planned for the audience for nearly 200 people. Access to the auditorium is available from the first floor. The sports section is connected by the central communication section, which serves recreation with classrooms and a gym with locker rooms and sanitary facilities. Total usable area is 3813,13 m2.

Kindergarten and nursery is a one-storey building, divided into three parts: kindergarten, nursery and administrative part. The pre-school section includes 6 classrooms, each with an access to the adjacent terrace and recreational areas with playgrounds. Nursery consists of two rooms with the necessary sanitary and storage facilities. The design also provided a very comfortable space for a carriage and a concierge. In addition, a multifunctional hall with an area of ​​more than 100 m2 is also available in the part of the kindergarten, where different activities can take place. Thanks to the modern method of modular connection of rooms, the room can easily be divided into two smaller, which gives the possibility of conducting two events simultaneously. The total floor area of ​​the kindergarten plus the nursery is 1793.98 m2.

Such investments seem to please the most. Not only has the municipality been enriched by a modern, safe educational complex, but also the youngest residents can enjoy fully functional, beautifully-built spaces.

The pre-school part includes 6 classrooms, each of which has a direct exit to the adjacent terrace and recreation areas with playgrounds. Nursery is two classrooms with necessary sanitary teams and warehouses. The project also provided very comfortable places for a carriages and concierge. What is more, in the kindergarten part there is also a multifunctional hall with an area of ​​over 100 m2, where additional classes can be held. Thanks to the modern method of modular connection of rooms, the room can be easily divided into two smaller ones, which gives the possibility of conducting simultaneous two events.

The construction of another public facility has been successfully completed.

The investment not implemented by PKOB Wegner provided 150 new places for preschoolers - the youngest residents of the Nieszawka Wielka commune. This express construction was quite a challenge for the company and an extremely interesting experience. Thanks to the implementation in question, the Nieszawka Mała Commune has created the largest number of new pre-school places in this type of facilities in the poviats of Bydgoszcz and Toruń.

There is still some time left for the official opening of the building, but today we can boast of the completed investment.
