During the weekend in May, the WEGNER team had the opportunity to play the role of professional furniture restorers at Folwark Edwardowo. Each of the participants was asked to try their hand at renewing unique interior design elements. Each of the furniture had its own history, and thanks to the professional help of prof. Marek Owsian regained its former glory.

The multi-stage qualification of the winners is aimed at assessing, among others, several years of financial results of companies, innovation and development potential as well as the reputation of companies in the region. In the final stage of the competition, 9 winning companies were selected. WEGNER has been awarded the title of "The best investor and investment support company" in the sector of medium and large companies. Being among such a respectable group of companies is a great honor and joy. It is a sign that WEGNER is developing in the right direction, while respecting the art of construction, principles of fair competition, constantly developing the potential of a professional staff, who draws from 30 years of experience on the market. Due to the pandemic situation, the award ceremony was broadcast online. The patrons of the event were the President of Poznań and the Voivode of Wielkopolska.

After reporting readiness for acceptance, WEGNER signed the final acceptance protocol for the construction of the Hospice in Toruń. The last weeks of work were spent on preparing the facility for acceptance and equipping the facility. After the conservator has approved both the hospice building in a style harmonizing with the character of the surroundings, as well as the restoration of the park complex itself to its original condition, preparations are underway for the handover of the facility. The construction site and the new building were visited by Marshal Piotr Całbecki, who expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation of WEGNER and the authorities of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Thanks to a perfect plan, a reliable partner and a team of WEGNER experts, we have gained another successful, timely investment and investor's satisfaction.

WEGNER has signed a contract with the Kołobrzeg Social Building Society for the construction of the first stage of the Witkowice Kołobrzeg estate. The estate includes 10 multi-family buildings. A photovoltaic installation supplying electricity to common areas is planned on each of the buildings. In the Witkowice estate, there will also be places for electric car charging and storage reservoirs, from which water will be used, among others. for watering flower meadows. For each of the ten buildings, there are two apartments adapted for people with physical disabilities. The investment is created in the "design and build" system.

WEGNER has completed construction works related to the erection of a municipal nursery building with equipment in the Warsaw district of Włochy. The investment, which thanks to consistent details and light form perfectly fits into the neighboring architecture, was created in the "design and build" system. The construction of a modular nursery uses the technology of prefabricated wooden skeleton. It provides high energy efficiency, environmental friendliness as well as significantly shortens the implementation time compared to the traditional method. In the nursery, works related to land development and preparations for the first acceptance are currently underway.

WEGNER has obtained a permit for the extension of the Special School and Educational Center in Wrocław by a three-story segment along with land development and the creation of technical infrastructure. The task of the General Contractor will be to carry out construction works on the basis of the construction and executive documentation prepared as part of the task. The aim of the implementation is to increase the educational base of the facility along with the creation of the missing functions and ensuring the availability of the facility for the needs of people with disabilities.

Soon, WEGNER starts works related to the organization of the construction site. It is also necessary to cut down trees that collide with the designed building, and that will take place under dendrological supervision. The investor is the Board of Municipal Investments in Wrocław.

In the Building of the Year 2021 competition, Concordia Design Wrocław was announced the best office building in the world. Work on this extraordinary building was carried out in cooperation with the Dutch studio MVRDV and the Wrocław architectural office Q2Studio. Inside, an amazing fresco of the visual artist Alicja Biała was created, referring to the history of Słodowa Island. The renovation of the nineteenth-century tenement house and the design of the new part were carried out in close cooperation with the conservator of monuments and the city architect. The demolition works in the historic part of the tenement house were carried out by hand, and the maintenance of the original façade required the use of a 70-ton steel structure.

This year, WEGNER donated a signed sledge and deckchair as well as a voucher for a special Day at the Construction Site for an auction for the WOŚP. We are very pleased that there were no shortage of willing bidders, and the donated goods supported the noble cause of the WOŚP. The extremely difficult and disturbing situation the world is facing now requires attention to the needs of those who need help. WEGNER has signed a contract for the reconstruction and change of use of the Police buildings at ul. Tuwima 12a and Sienkiewicza 28/30. The subject of the contract is the development of project documentation and the performance of works under the task "Revitalization of the City Center of Łódź in the Police facility at ul. Sienkiewicza 28/30 and at ul. Tuwima 12a "implemented as part of the project" Area Revitalization of the Łódź Center - Project 2 ".

The order covers the preparation of technical documentation, i.e. construction designs and detailed designs, the creation of an original implementation design, execution of construction works and workplace equipment. WEGNER will also be responsible for the author's supervision over the project. Works will be carried out on an active facility. The amount that the Ordering Party will allocate to finance the contract is nearly PLN 46,000,000.

This is the third edition of the “Głos Wielkopolski” campaign in cooperation with the Foundation for Help for Children with Cancer Diseases from Poznań and the sponsors of the project. Thanks to the financial support, the children will receive Christmas and New Year's gifts, and the costs of treatment and rehabilitation will also be partially financed.

The re-awarding of the award that puts the company at the forefront of construction companies creating projects in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region is a great honor for WEGNER.

WEGNER has completed conceptual works for the plot no. 2/1 in Anastazewo, by the beach of Lake Powidzkie. The usable area of the planned project is almost 12,000 m2. The concept involves the creation of two eight-story buildings, containing 60 luxury apartments and 80 hotel rooms.

Guests have at their disposal a SPA, restaurant and fitness area. The amazing architecture of the planned project allows you to enjoy the landscape from every perspective.

The unique qualities of the Powidzki Landscape Park, where the largest lake in Wielkopolska is located - Powidzkie Lake, ensure proximity to nature, rich recreational areas and the highest comfort of rest.

Soon we will start construction works in another hospital facility - the Provincial Multispecialist Center of Oncology and Traumatology M. Kopernika in Łódź. The implementation includes the reconstruction of the rooms of the Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Department and the operating suite. Our task will also be to equip the hospital with medical apparatus and equipment.

Work is underway to expand the facility of Zakład Opiekuńczo-Leczniczego i Rehabilitacji Medycznej SPZOZ in Poznań located at ul. Mogileńska.

The investment will be enriched with facilities whose total area of ​​two tools will increase by almost 7,000 m2. In the new part of the facility, care and treatment ward, day care home and rehabilitation wards. WEGNER works related to the search for electrical and sanitary installations. The roof system and windows are also being installed.

WEGNER has completed works on the investment of extending the A3 building of the Olsztyn Provincial Specialist Children's Hospital. The facility gained 668 m2 of space and renovation of the existing part. In the first stage of works, the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy was commissioned, equipped with medical columns with an administrative section. In the next stage, the Department of Infectious Diseases was established, housing, among others specialized Meltzer chambers - isolators, in which it is possible to treat patients infected with extremely dangerous infectious diseases. The chambers consist of a system of rooms equipped with passage cabinets with UV lamps and special filters. The technical part of the hospital with administrative rooms was built on the ground floor. On the 3rd and 4th floor there is a pediatric ward with an orthopedic ward.

The construction of the nursery for the Capital City of Warsaw is coming to an end!

Currently, finishing and assembly works are being carried out. This facility was designed in BIM technology and made with the use of prefabricated wooden skeleton.

The subject of the contract includes the performance of construction works and all demolition, construction, installation, etc. works, adapting the premises to the Investor's needs.

The expansion of the Independent Public Healthcare Institution of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration in Gdańsk with an operating theater is carried out in the design, build and equip formula. WEGNER as a general contractor deals with the investment from the project preparation stage, through construction works, to equipping the facility with modern medical equipment. Currently, work is underway on the construction of foundations and substructure for the -1 floor and external masonry walls on the -1 level. The construction for the installation of the first ceilings is also being prepared.

We had the pleasure of organizing open doors, which took place in the new building of the municipal nursery in Warsaw! The event was attended by honorable guests in the persons of the Mayors of Warsaw Districts, the Vice-President of Warsaw Renata Kaznowska and the Investor.

The building with over 998 m2 of usable area was made in wooden, skeleton technology, which allows for its high energy efficiency. The facility is divided into functional zones, ensuring adequate lighting of the rooms.

The form of the building is relatively simple, adjusted to the surroundings, which are mainly multi-family housing. Careful and coherent details add to the shape and the assumption of lightness of the form.

The Hospice building in the area of ​​the Biały Dwór park in Toruń has already reached its shell. Finishing and installation works are currently underway. The order covers the development of design documentation and the execution of construction works in the "design and tape" formula. Hospice plaque under the supervision of the conservator. The new operating block of the Hospital in Puszczykowo is already open!

It is the most modern investment of this type in Greater Poland. The new block houses as many as 5 operating rooms, a patient preparation room for the procedure, and a recovery room. An intensive care room and a central sterilization room equipped with high-class equipment such as steam autoclaves and a low-temperature plasma sterilizer were also created.

The process of designing the facility of the Independent Public Healthcare Institution of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Gdańsk was completed with obtaining a building permit.

The investment, which will result in the construction of a facility with a usable area of ​​almost 3,000 m2, is entering the construction phase. The new building will house an operating block and departments of Gastrology and Urology. The facility is implemented in the design, build and equip formula.

WEGNER had the pleasure to host representatives of the Landscape Architecture Association at the Edwardowo Folwark. They prepared a webinar and a workshop "Designing and establishing flower meadows". Participants had the opportunity to learn about the importance of flower meadows for the ecosystem, the basics of their preparation, and subsequent care.

Sharing good is a great joy for us! A few weeks ago, the WEGNER team organized a collection of books and board games, which we donated to the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital.
